Celebrating July 4th at Home Disney Style

It was love at first sight for Lynn. From the first moment she stepped foot in the Magic Kingdom she knew she'd found where she was meant to be. Many trips have followed that first back in February 2008 and each trip brings new and exciting adventures with her three amazing kids and husband. Lynn is also the owner of My Pixie Dust Diary.

Trying to avoid the heat and crowds at Disney this 4th of July?  Here are a few ideas for bringing a little touch of Disney to your celebration outside the parks and showing everyone how you rock your Disney Side:

These super cute star shaped treats would be a great way to cool off and are super easy to make ahead of time.

How cute would a monster from your watermelon rind be as part of your buffet?

Put a patriotic spin on Sheriff Woody’s star shaped badge and add these tasty treats to your cookout.

I think these Mad Hatter cupcakes just might be my favorite!

There are not just food ideas over on Spoonful.

Can’t you just picture your crew with these on watching the fireworks??

These flags would make great decorations for the yard or even as part of your tablescape for the buffet or dessert tables.

How are you bringing Disney into your patriotic celebrations this year?
