On the heels of finishing off Star Wars Weekends, Disney’s Hollywood Studios announced they would have “Frozen Fun” all summer long! And this is definitely an experience NOT to be missed! We have still yet to experience “Frozen Fun” in its entirety, but what we have seen we really enjoyed! This event is going on now – September 1st, 2014 & shows & events go on daily!

I was most excited for this. Greeted by a smiling Cast Member as you walk into the park, Olaf on a Stick is for you to take on a park tour & snap all the pictures you can! Using the hashtag, #OlafSummerVacation, submit your pictures on any social media platform & they just might make an appearance during the Frozen Fireworks Spectacular! It was raining during our visit, so Olaf didn’t make too many appearances on our trip. I guess that just means we have to go back, right?

For the First time in Forever – A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration
As the Royal Historians retell Arendelle’s famous story, the theater is invited to sing-along to the hit songs from the movie. The energy from the crowd during this sing-along is *amazing*. Due to copyrights, the video does not include the songs, which unfortunately cuts out the crowd cheering & singing along as well. Getting into this show was painless. We received our “FastPass” for the show at the end of the Streets of San Francisco. This ticket came with a return time. During that return time, we got in line to enter the theater. The air-conditioning is definitely a welcomed break during this Florida summer! During the show, be prepared to experience cheering, singing, snoap & characters, too!
Wandering Oaken’s Frozen Funland
It is so hard to believe that this was Darth’s Mall just a few weeks ago! A skating rink, snow covered trees & real “snow” to play with fill the area. Since we arrived very late in the day(almost closing time), we were only able to spend a very short time in the funland. But, for the half hour we were in there, the Cast Members, or “Family” as they kept calling out to us, kept us VERY entertained. They wanted to be sure that we did come back when we had more time & they wanted us to share with you all that they are waiting for you! NDM 490 and the Family send you this message –
Getting there so late in the day, we missed out on the Royal Welcome and the skating demonstrations. The rain kept us away from the dance party. An ADR at Beaches & Cream kept us from fully experiencing the fireworks. We were able to see the fireworks from the boardwalk outside of the Beach Club, but the interactive part of the show was missed. We did notice the extra screens up as we were in the park & are excited to go back to fully see the show!

For me (and my family) Frozen is now a Disney favorite. Unfortunately, as I live in France, I will not be able to enjoy these shows. But thanks to this article, it is a bit as if I was there.
