Disney Junior has released the listings for the NEW episodes of your favorite shows for the month of August! For any house with a young NDK, these are exciting! I know there are certain episodes my NDK will talk about all week long until they come on. Are there any your NDK is waiting patiently for?

- Original Series – Episode Premiere
Jake and the Never Land Pirates “Hook The Genie! / A Royal Misunderstanding” (9:00 AM – 9:30 AM ET/PT) “Hook The Genie!” – Captain Hook is turned into a genie after swiping a magic lamp from one of his crew members. *Jerry O’Connell (“Stand By Me”) recurs as Pip the Pirate Genie. “A Royal Misunderstanding”– Jake, Izzy and Cubby must devise a plan to settle a dispute between Queen Coralie and King Crab. *Bobby Moynihan (“Saturday Night Live”), Ariel Winter (“Modern Family”), Jane Kaczmarek (“Malcolm in the Middle”) and Leigh-Allyn Baker (“Good Luck Charlie”) recur as King Crab, Marina the Mermaid, Red Jessica and Queen Coralie, respectively.

Jake and the Never Land Pirates “Pirate Pogo / The Sneaky Snook-off” (9:00 AM – 9:30 AM ET/PT) “Pirate Pogo” – Jake and his mateys search for the Lost Treasure of Captain Ramone, the greatest pirate pogo rocker in history. “The Sneaky Snook-off”– Captain Hook and Beatrice Le Beak challenge each other to a contest to prove who is the sneakiest snook in Never Land. *Teri Hatcher (“Planes: Fire & Rescue”) recurs as Beatrice Le Beak.

Sofia the First “Princesses to the Rescue!” (9:30 AM – 10:00 AM ET/PT) On a royal visit to the Kingdom of Wei-Ling, Sofia, Amber and Princess Jun must work together to rescue their fathers and brothers who are trapped in a jaguar’s den. Disney Princess Mulan makes a special appearance to offer some strategic advice to the young princesses.*Ming-Na Wen (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”) reprises her role as Mulan. Wen’s daughter Michaela Zee recurs as Princess Jun.

Doc McStuffins “Oooey Gablooey Springs a Leak / There’s a King in Your Tummy!” (9:00 AM – 9:30 AM ET/PT) “Oooey Gablooey Springs a Leak” – When Oooey Gablooey, an alien starfish toy, gets a puncture in one of his tentacles and blue goo starts coming out of him, Doc teaches him the importance of staying calm in the face of something unsightly. “There’s a King in Your Tummy!” – When squeezable water toy Serpent Sam accidentally swallows the Wicked King with a huge gulp of water, Doc diagnoses him with “Tummy-a-la-king” and performs the Heimlich Maneuver to force the Wicked King out.

Sheriff Callie’s Wild West “The Prickly Pair / Crystal Cave Caper” (9:00 AM – 9:30 AM ET/PT) “The Prickly Pair” – On the day of Toby and Peck’s big best buddy fishing trip, Toby meets Polly May Porcupine and the two instantly bond over being “prickly,” leaving Peck feeling left out. “Crystal Cave Caper” – Dirty Dan and Dusty learn that help can sometimes come from the ones you least expect after being rescued by Sheriff Callie and an unlikely new friend.
