Moms Panel

submission completeExactly one week ago today, submissions for the 2015 Disney Parks Moms Panel search began. Amid a few technical glitches, we all survived and hopefully, everyone submitted theirs on time. The process was cut short by a day and a half this year, but the application itself seemed much more friendly. I know I appreciated the sample question, and the fun questions thrown into the mix allowed for creativity to flow. The hardest part of this year’s application? The picture! While the “photo” aspect wasn’t hard, Gary had said it was ok to submit a collage. Finding the perfect photos (and the perfect amount of photos) was only hard because I had so many to choose from! I chose a few family favorites, ones that truly represented who we are and what Disney means to us. I loved this year’s application process. Gary Buchanan made it a lot of fun – especially most of his tweets! It was also so nice to know that he was available for questions regarding the application if needed. He also shared information, too:

This was exciting news from Gary. Although he did clarify that it was due to more applications being received, a girl can still be hopeful! With the process of Round 1 taking anywhere from 4-5 weeks (not a confirmed number), we have a bit to go! Today’s song is perfect for all the ups and downs we will be experiencing over the next few weeks. With everyone still in the game right now, let’s think happy thoughts & enjoy this roller coaster ride – maybe a Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride….

There’s no place I’d rather be
Than on my surfboard out at sea
Lingering in the ocean blue
And if I had one wish come true
I’d surf till the sun sets
Beyond the horizon

Now, if you just change the lyrics a little….

There’s no place I’d rather be
Than typing on the keyboard of my pc
Lingering in cyber space so blue
And if I had one wish come true
I’d answer questions til the sun sets
Beyond the horizon

So maybe I’m not cut out to be a songwriter. How are you spending your time waiting for the results of Round 1? Do you do anything special to pass the time? I’ll see you all next week in the waiting room!
