Moms Panel

Two weeks ago, Disney Parks Moms Panel opened up the search for the 2015 panel, and we are all patiently waiting for that coveted “Congratulations” email. Of course, we all will not be recipients of that email. I have seen a lot of comments recently in Facebook groups stating that people already know they have been disqualified based on finding typos in their copied answers. Everyone is on pins and needles while we wait for the next few weeks, obsessing over the what-ifs and the could-have-done-betters. What’s important to remember is not to focus on what has been submitted. We have to keep moving forward and remember that while we wait hopefully, we are all in this together.

We’re all in this together
Once we know
That we are
We’re all stars
And we see that

We’re all in this together
And it shows
When we stand
Hand in hand
Make our dreams come true

I chose this song based on the above lyrics. We are all stars, and when we all work together, we help make a lot of dreams come true – not just our own! We are the ‘go-to” Disney expert in our own circle of friends. Most of us are in Disney fan based Facebook groups, and time spent in those groups, generally, is for good. While there is “drama” and “cattiness” just about anywhere you go, Disney fans always have each other’s back. We are there to help answer questions, find merchandise or simply just share in the love that has brought us all together.

My point? The Disney Parks Moms Panel title is something that every extreme Disney fan dreams of.  What is key to remember, if an “unmagical letter” should find its way to you, it may not be because you made a typo or did not properly reference the name of that Toy Story ride at the big blue hat park. There just isn’t room for 10,000 Moms Panelists. YOU are already a star! You do not need a fancy title for what you do out of love to help others experience the same kind of magic you have found. And we are all in this together, hand in hand, making dreams come true…..
