JakesTreasureTrek_Screengrab1We are big Disney Junior fans, so NDK was very excited to play this game. This game presents itself as a race against Captain Hook. While the app page says this game is designed for children 5 and under, I still feel that young children older than 5 would still enjoy this game.  Jake will make it to the end of the quest every time you play, which can make it easier on younger children playing this game, but he may not always win. Speed and coordination are key in this game, as the goal is to beat Captain Hook to the end of each quest. The difficulty level does increase as the game progresses. NDK worked on one level for a few days before figuring out another strategy.

In all, this is a fun adventure for young children. A game that encourages children to find new strategies on their own is a winner in my neurotic Disney home!

Have your NDKs played this game? How far have they progressed?
