Moms Panel

Rapunzel from TangledWelcome to “Week 3” of the Moms Panel Waiting Room! The time is flying. It is so hard to believe that 3 weeks have gone by since applications were opened. Gary Buchanan has assured us that we are still on track for October Round 2 notifications. It is comforting to know that the #DisneyMP search is in the reliable hands of other dreamers and doers.

So, today, let’s talk about dreams….

We all have dreams. For most of us, these dreams are Disney dreams. Some dream of vacationing in the place they like to call “home.” Others dream of bigger vacations, Adventures by Disney trips, cruises, or maybe even visiting Disney parks abroad. Maybe it’s a gathering of epic proportions that you dream of, a wedding or family reunion. And then there are those of us who long for a bigger picture, living closer to their Disney dream and being able to have Disney in your backyard. Either way, we all have connected dreams. We all share the same big picture…Disney is in our blood.

“I’ve Got A Dream” from Tangled is a perfect waiting room song. While it’s catchy tune and ironic situations will keep you smiling, it shows that everyone has a dream, and we are all connected by that fact. Towards the end of the song, they mention that despite our differences, we are all one big team. Friendships are made throughout this process, and those bonds are priceless. For these friendships, along with the fun and exciting memories, I am forever grateful. I am a firm believer in “everything happens for a reason,” so I do believe that when the time is right, my path will shine. Until then, I have a dream…..

Enjoy this week’s song. It’s the official sing-along version, complete with the bouncing Mickey head! What factor about the Disney Park Moms Panel has left you grateful? Friendships? Bigger dreams? Memories? Share with us! Have a great week!
