Japanese Candy Art – Throwback Thursday

First & foremost, I'm MOM! I have a Disney soul...am a DVC & D23 member, and a wannabe castmember. Magic seeker for life! I vacationed almost exclusively at WDW with my family as an adult and in the last couple years picked up my family to move there/here. And that’s where I am now…in Cinderella’s backyard with my family. I’m very happy to be a Disney local, at last.

Candy Miyuki Epcot Japan

Miyuki is an Ame Zaiku artist that performed at the Japan Pavilion inside Epcot’s World Showcase. This photo was taken in 2012. Her last performance was November 23, 2013. She would create animals from candy, using her hands. Were you ever able to experience this great form of Japanese art?

Do you have a Throwback Thursday photo you would like to share? We would love to feature it! Email NDM130 at thedisneydrivenlife dot com!
