LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., – Walt Disney World is proud to invest in community efforts that focus on children and the caring adults in their lives. As part of that commitment, the annual Disney Grants application period will be open Nov. 2 – Dec. 4, 2015.
The Disney Grants program supports nonprofit organizations that build a strong foundation so that children and their families/caregivers can thrive as healthy, productive, compassionate, and capable citizens with the confidence to reach their highest potential.
Local nonprofit organizations are encouraged to review the guidelines HERE. Beginning Nov. 2, 2015 you can access the application HERE. Please logon to the application portal. Once you logon to the system, use the Access Code Disney16 to view the application.
Priority is given to nonprofits whose mission and programs focus on one of the following:
- Strengthening Children, Families and Communities
As a caring neighbor, Disney remains active in supporting efforts that enable children to strengthen bonds and have meaningful interactions with their families/caregivers.
- Promoting Positive Youth Development from Cradle to Career
Knowing that we need to work together for a better future for all children, Disney promotes opportunities that inspire happiness and make a positive impact for our children in the communities in which we live, work and play. We will support the development of children from cradle to career in every key phase of their personal growth.
