The waterfall at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, affectionately referred to as “The Poly,” was always a perfect picture spot. This photo is of my mother and a friend. While I am unsure of the year (guessing sometime late ’70’s/early ’80’s), I am sure of the wonder and beauty this spot would offer. It was always peaceful and serene to walk in, smell the water and enjoy the view. This throwback is definitely one that is greatly missed.
How do you feel about the changes that have taken place to “The Poly?”

Oh man I miss the Poly fountain so much! I get that people who don’t have personal memories won’t understand but to us it was so special and now it’s gone forever 🙁
