bunny laptop imageIt is that time of year, the trees are popping, the days are getting longer and Easter is just around the corner. Growing up, Easter was big at my house, not like Christmas big, but still a visit from the Easter Bunny ranked right up there. As a mom now, I try to still bring some excitement and love to the holiday, including a little Disney inspired activities.
This year, I am trying the following activities:

1. Finding Nemo Egg Hunt: You get the concept; it is the same as usual. You need hard boiled eggs, rubber bands and some fun dye colors-I recommend orange-after all it is Nemo! Once you have boiled the eggs and they are ready for the dye, wrap the rubber bands around the eggs and then dip them in! Let them dry, and then go to town hiding them and have your little ones go find them! Just don’t forget to remember where you hid them, or you may be sorry in a couple of months!

2. Thumper has been here!: I remember one time the Easter Bunny left his mark throughout the house! Well how about Bambi’s little friend?! All you need to do is cut out rabbit feet on construction paper and then lay it down where you desire (for us it has worked better on hard floors). Once the paper is down where you want, lay down baby power over the cutout so that the cutout is covered. Then lift! The result should be a pair of rabbit feet prints. The joy on your kids face will make up for the mess, I promise!

3. Minnie and Mickey-Easter Basket Name Tags: You can find some cute Easter basket tags on the internet! All you need is a little card stock, a hole punch and some really cute baskets to put them on! Easy and quick, and if your kids are like mine, they will simply love it. And make sure to fill it with some Disney inspired goodies. My local CVS and Walgreens have some Disney themed Easter candies, stuffed animals and small toys that would be perfect as Easter basket stuffers!

How do you add a little Disney to your Easter celebration? Have idea for me to try out? I would love to hear it!
