Unitas Entertainment LLC group JAGMAC has been named Radio Disney’s “NBT” (Next Big Thing) – a multi-platform program that spotlights rising artists and showcases their journey as they pursue their musical dreams. JAGMAC, a group of six siblings, gets their name from the first initial of all six members, including Jared, Angelique, Gabriel, Manjo, Alyssa and CJ. Beginning this month, JAGMAC’s journey will be featured in a series of exclusive “NBT” videos on Radio Disney, Disney Channel, the Radio Disney app, the DisneyNOW app and social media platforms.
The group will share their excitement about being named the next “NBT” featured artist and debut their highly anticipated single, “Right Back With You,” during an interview with Radio Disney host Candice today, Thursday, April 19, at 2:00 p.m. PDT/ 5:00 p.m. EDT on Radio Disney and the Radio Disney app. Their single will be available beginning Friday, April 20. In 2016, JAGMAC released their single “So Good” which hit the No. 20 spot on the Radio Disney Top 30 chart. That summer, they were the opening act for Little Mix’s sold out UK tour and released their next single “Soldiers” which hit the No. 15 spot on Billboard’s Hot Club chart.
The group of four brothers and two sisters were born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and are known for their catchy choruses, stunning vocals and remarkable dance routines. They sing, dance, choreograph and play musical instruments including the guitar, piano, bass and drums. Every member of the group also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Radio Disney’s “NBT” program illustrates how the network is delivering on its commitment to identify and nurture emerging talent while providing them with a platform to help boost their careers. JAGMAC joins an impressive roster of “NBT” alumni who have quickly grown to be some of today’s biggest artists, including: Island Records’ Shawn Mendes, Epic Records’ Camila Cabello and Fifth Harmony, GRAMMY®-nominated Kelsea Ballerini, Def Jam Records’ and GRAMMY winner Alessia Cara, Hollywood Records’ Jordan Fisher and Sofia Carson, Kemosabe/RCA Records’ Becky G, Buena Vista Records’ Temecula Road and Atlantic Records’ Why Don’t We.
