With the various forms of social media now exploding, we are seeing a greater desire for personal interaction within the Neurotic Disney Community. Many plans are developing, and we are testing new software in order to meet this need. In the meantime, The Disney Driven Life is pleased to announce its first step in uniting our elite group by allowing us to reach across the world and become a part of one another’s lives.
As an official NDP, you are now welcome to list yourself within the NDP Directory. While no specific information (such as last names) will be posted in the directory, you have the opportunity to direct other NDPs to media forms that you enjoy. By submitting this contact information, NDPs will be able to access one another more easily, get to know each other in a form they find comfortable and enhance their experience as part of this fantastic gathering of people.
If you are an official NDP and would like to participate with us in this way, please contact NDM#1 at ndm1@thedisneydrivenlife.com . She will need your first name, last initial, NDP title and any one (or more) of the following:

If you are not yet an official member of the Neurotic Disney Community, just contact NDM#1 with your first name, last initial, home state, and twitter name (if you have one). Don’t forget to tell her which position you are requesting (NDM, NDD, NDW, NDH, NDGM, NDGD, NDA, NDU, NDI, NDT or NDK). You will receive your induction letter from NDM#1 shortly after that.

The Disney Driven Life has found another partner in Sorcerer Radio, the premier online Walt Disney World radio station. It can now be streamed directly from our site by clicking on the Sorcerer Radio banner located on the right sidebar. Sorcerer Radio is the only online Disney radio station to have the entire package of live chat, live cams, live DJ shows and podcasts. Therefore, it is no surprise that we are proud to announce its endorsement as the radio choice for those leading The Disney Driven Life.

We want to give a big NDP welcome to Chris Reid (NDI#18) of The Tiki Room Morning Show on Sorcerer Radio. He holds the title of Official Neurotic Disney Broadcaster, and his show is one of two brand new Official Neurotic Disney Broadcasts that can be played on demand by clicking the self-titled banner located at the bottom of the right sidebar on our site.

The Tiki Room Morning Show is the only Walt Disney World morning show on the internet! Broadcasting Monday through Friday at 8am, your host, Chris (aka “Fantasmic”), guides you through the morning with your personal Disney song requests and the daily theme and water park schedules for the Walt Disney World Resort. Chris also lets you know what the Walt Disney World refurbishment shedule is and will tell you about all the happenings in the Sorcerer Radio Community.
Most Fridays, the Tiki Room Morning Show presents The Animation Courtyard. It is a segment that features interviews related to Walt Disney World. Past guests include Heather Henson (daughter of Muppets creator, Jim Henson), Amy Leslie (former Disney On Ice figure skater), and Lou Mongello (author of the Walt Disney World Trivia Book).

His show–an afternoon and evening event–goes hand-in-hand with The Tiki Room Morning Show. For this reason, Jeff’s show is the second, new Official Neurotic Disney Broadcast that can also be played on demand by clicking the banner located at the bottom of the right sidebar on our site.

Airing Thursdays at 8pm and replaying Fridays at 1pm and Sundays at 4pm, DW:60 is just as stated–the World in 60 minutes. Host, Jeff Davis, takes you through all corners of Walt Disney World, providing you with unique music from the parks to boot.
In his 60 minutes, Jeff tackles news from the parks as well as gives his honest opinion about the developments taking place. He is a professional at delivering the best quality news from the Walt Disney World Resort, even traveling to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at times for special announcments that air live on Sorcerer Radio. In addition, his feature segment called Press Box has been greatly anticipated and just premiered on Sorcerer Radio. But to make sure that all Disney fans receive the authentic magic of Disney through their radio, Jeff caps off each episode of DW:60 with a Disney attraction ride-through. Bringing all these things in one hour, the NDPs rely on Jeff as our number one Disney news guru!

Angey (NDW#10) has been instated as our fourth club officer and taken on the duties of recruiter for our esteemed group. While recruiting is a responsibility that all NDPs hold, Angey has made it a focused mission to creatively design ways to assist our community’s growth. Thank you, Angey!

Come register in this relatively new Disney forum to read the blog and interact with other NDPs in a more direct way. Arny V. (NDD#12) has been instated as our third club officer, holding the position of Neurotic Disney Webmaster and working hard to bring us more opportunities for expansion. His forum, the Walt Disney Boards are in the process of changing to accomodate the NDPs and enable us to unite in a more meaningful manner. So we hope you will decide to register as a WDB member and watch us grow together.

The Disney Driven Life now has RSS feeds. When selected, this option will notify you when a new blog or comment is posted rather than requiring you to constantly check back for updates. It is my hope that this new tool will make the site more “NDP friendly”. To avail yourself of this feature:
1) In the right sidebar under RSS feeds, click on “All Posts” and/or “All Comments”
2)Select your news reader of choice in the “Subscribe Now!” box (for example, I selected My Yahoo)
3)You also have the option of selecting, “Get the Disney Driven Life delivered by e-mail”

THE CONFESSIONAL is now open for use of the NDP community. It is a place for those in our circle to purge their souls of the deepest, darkest secrets concerning the Neurotic Disney things that they have done in times of Disney desperation. There is no need to carry the burden of Disney neurosis on your own anymore. Share the crazy things you’ve done for a Disney “fix” in the confessional. You never know . . . some of us may decide to join in on your neurotic activities.
