With the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, it’s worth revisiting the previous films. While the first installment, The Curse of the Black Pearl, is widely regarded as a fabulous film, the reception of Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End was less than stellar. I watched them again, and I have to admit, I just don’t understand all the animosity.

Spring is in the air, and it’s time to celebrate with some Disney flare. Starting May 4th, Epcot will be hosting the 2011 Flower and Garden Festival. This festival is one of the most beautiful times of the year to visit Epcot. In addition to the many flowers, topiaries, and gardening demonstrations there will be some great nightly entertainment. The Flower Power concert series returns this year and includes three new musical acts that feature music from the 60s and 70s. The concerts are included in your admission to Epcot and are held in the American Gardens theatre three times a night at 5:15, 6:30 and 7:45. Each musical act will also be preforming for three consecutive days, so, if you have a favorite, make sure to see their show more than once since they may be doing a different set.
