BRINGING DISNEY TO YOUR DOOR

JeniLynn Knopp (234 Posts)

JeniLynn was born and raised in South Florida. Being so close to Walt Disney World, she grew up regularly visiting the Mouse and developed a fascination with the creativity of Disney Parks. Noticing that her happiest moments seemed to always take place in Walt Disney World, JeniLynn began trying to recreate the magic of Disney in her everyday life beginning in her pre-teen years. Adulthood, sixteen years of marriage, and three children later, JeniLynn continues to lead a Disney Driven Life and diligently works to pass her love for Disney on to her husband and children. She has blogged for Touring Plans and been a contributing writer for The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, and she currently co-hosts Orlando Attractions Magazine: The Show; however, her primary focus has always been with the community that has grown around her own site, The Disney Driven Life. Through these venues JeniLynn strives to help other Disney fans stay connected to the brand that has served as a keystone in her family’s life.

I don't have the 2010 version yet & this fabulous video has motivated me to place my order immediately! I did order a Disney Cruise Line planning DVD this morning!! Yay!! 🙂

We're also big fans of the Disney planning videos and have our own library of them. I think my favorite would be Happiest Celebration on Earth. We use it as part of the pep rally before we leave.

note: If you have “new” people going on vacation with you, it's fun to secretly sign them up for the planning video. It's fun to get Disney in the mail and it's a good way to get them in the mood for an upcoming trip.

That is a great idea to order the Disney Vacation Planning Video. You can save alot of money that way too instead of buying the souvenir park five-DVD package.

In an unrelated note, I appear to be counted as one of your own, but I don't know how to contribute to the blog under my login. Can you help me?

Hi Peter. I guess I'm a little confused by what you mean in “contributing.” If you could be more specific about what you are trying to accomplish, we will be happy to help you any way that we can.

This is such a great idea! Usually resort promo DVDs are kind of cheesy and poorly produced. But clearly not when that resort is owned and operated by one of the world's premier motion picture studios, which can produce the promo for itself!

We are going to request one for our house to get us through those long Disney winters…

Amen, JL! Just between us two OKW lovers, I watch the Vacation Planning DVDs just to escape to WDW! My kids think I'm a little strange, but they eventually get sucked in. They like the feature where the group of kids go park to park doing things and getting clues on the cell phones.

And thanks for the brrrrilliant idea to start a library! Love your site! Now I'm off to get my customized maps framed!

LOL! That is my kids' favorite bonus feature as well. It was well done and very cute. I love looking at the little summary things that they have on the resort hotels. *sigh*

So funny that you mention the customized maps as they are on the list as the topic of my next vlog. Thank you so much for your support for the site. We are doing what we can to spread the pixie dust to other Disney fans. Hugs!
