Karen was born in Massachusetts and primarily grew up there with a few pit stops along the way. Her first trip to Walt Disney World did not occur until she was 14 years old when she went with her family to the Polynesian Resort. It was not until years later when she returned with her children and husband (for their first trip) that the real obsession began. Returning to the lobby of the Polynesian brought back all the memories she had forgotten, and ignited a Disney passion in her family's life. Karen currently guest blogs for The Disney Driven Life as their wedding expert and is co-founder of her blog, The Best Friends Guide To.

With all the talk about WDW weddings I’ve been doing, I’d be neglectful to not mention the great Disney honeymoon ideas and planning tools available to all the brides to be right now. There’s one planner in particular that I thought was fantastic and worth sharing with everyone. It’s located on the Disney Magical Wedding website and is called create a Disney Honeymoon registry. Basically it’s like creating a wedding gift registry , but this one is for things you’d like to do or experience on your honeymoon at WDW. Here’s how it works…

  • Book a Disney honeymoon at select Disney Resort hotels, aboard a Disney cruise ship or at a Disney Vacation Club Resort.
  • Create a registry account and order the Disney Gift Card for Honeymoons.
  • Select registry items to create a “wish list” of honeymoon experiences.
  • Share the registry with family &  friends who can contribute funds to the Disney Gift Card for Honeymoons for   items in the registry.
  • Book honeymoon experiences using the gifted funds on the Disney Gift Card for Honeymoons.
  • Sounds great, right? Disney has created an easy way for wedding guests to pick out their gifts and in doing so, the bride and groom get the honeymoon of their dreams.  Get on over to the site and sign up today. Your dream honeymoon is waiting!
