I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Disney is NOT just for families. I talk all the time about the numerous girls trips I have taken there and often times get strange reactions from people. A few raised eyebrows or someone giving me a look that says ” why?” and I realize that they believe that you can only go to Disney if you have a few rugrats attached to you. Now I know that not everyone is like this and so does Disney because they have a site devoted to getting honeymoon info for future newlyweds. I don’t know too many newlyweds who are bringing kids along on their honeymoon so yes, this is a market for couples only.
The choices on the site are numerous. Obviously WDW and Disneyland in California but also Disney Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Adventures by Disney which goes everywhere, then there’s Hilton Head, Vero Beach the always popular Disney Cruise line. Of course we could’nt forget the newest member of the family Aulani in Hawaii. Everyone say “Ooooooooohhhh Hawaiiiiiii” at the same time.
My BFF did actually go on a Disney Cruise for her honeymoon and could’nt have had a better time. She even told me at what point that she questioned if children were even on the boat. With designated “grown up” only restaurants, pools and other areas you are assured that unless you want to be near a group of wild 7 year olds, all will be quiet and relaxing.
The link to request a brochure is listed below so if your a bride to be who longs to honeymoon with Mickey in some fashion , check it out and make your requests.

Karen was born in Massachusetts and primarily grew up there with a few pit stops along the way. Her first trip to Walt Disney World did not occur until she was 14 years old when she went with her family to the Polynesian Resort. It was not until years later when she returned with her children and husband (for their first trip) that the real obsession began. Returning to the lobby of the Polynesian brought back all the memories she had forgotten, and ignited a Disney passion in her family’s life.
