Good morning everyone, hope everything is zipadee doo dah with you today. Just here to report some minor changes that NDM#1 had me do last night while sorting out a short list for other site changes yet to come. I hope you’re as excited as we are about these changes.
For starters we’ve named the Facebook pages for both The Disney Driven Life and Inner Mouse. This may not seem as much, but when you think about it, and as much as we support being counted here at the DDL website, a name is far better than a number for a page on the internet. The Disney Driven Life Facebook group will remain a number as it appears that Facebook does not offer a means of naming groups. The new links are as follows:
- The Disney Driven Life Facebook Page: http://facebook.com/TheDisneyDrivenLife
- Inner Mouse Facebook Page: http://facebook.com/InnerMouse
Also to fix a small problem with the way I created the last RSS feed, I re-created it last night. As long as you’re using the site’s address to the feed in your RSS reader, you should be unaffected. That link is: https://thedisneydrivenlife.com/feed
As always feel free to contact me at any time about anything site related. And thanks for stopping by.

Not sure what’s happened with the RSS feed. About 2 weeks ago my feed started only showing the Title of the post along with a sampling of it. Previous to that I would get the entire post. I still do for all my other subscriptions so I’m not sure what’s happened. Haven’t figured out a fix on my end so I’m guessing it was a change made on your end. Not working for me.
Yes, we did make this change a few weeks back. But let me explain first that it’s not a problem on your end. There are two types of RSS feeds, full and sample. We use feedburner (Google) as the source for our feed. However that comes with the price of a 512k limit to your feed size (at the base level). We were using a full feed, however we started exceeding 512k, and posts had stopped showing up properly in RSS. The only solution to the problem was to cut the feed back from full to sample. I’m hoping that long term we can come up with a solution that will allow us to go back to a full feed. It’s definitely on my list of things to revisit in the future.
