A few days ago, Disney Parks Blog announced the renovations to “Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios were finished and open to the public once again! Being a beloved attraction of mine because of the history and connection to Walt himself, I had to find out what was added.
It seems the whole attraction was redone a bit, changing the look of the hallways that you wander through and helping to make some of the exhibits stand out. The “WED Imagineering Workshop” area looks new and has some new features including an original model of “It’s a Small World” in Disneyland and the Audio-Animatronic of Abraham Lincoln from “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” from the 1964 World’s Fair. How cool! You can see a picture of Mr. Lincoln in the article on the Disney Parks Blog page.
New props and costumes have been added to some displays, and there are sneak peeks of new projects that can be seen in the attraction. A new area has been added, too, though it will not be open until next month. It is called “The Legacy Continues” and will have different features about the company from the 1970s until today. I am very excited for these new features and cannot wait to experience them on my next trip to Walt Disney World!
