Kristen lives a Disney Driven Life by sharing her love of Disney and it's great food with others. She is the video host of the “Disney Driven Life Dining Tips”, which gives you tips for dining in Disney-style at home and in the parks.

There are so many Disney Dining Plan options, places to eat and ways to use the plan. I’ll be doing an entire series of these videos covering general tips, snacks, counter service and table service from parks to resorts. The first in the series is general tips for using the Disney Dining Plan.

If you are looking for some tips on how to get the most from using the DDP and make those credits really count, here are a few of many suggestions. If you have a general tip you’d like to share, please feel free to comment.

  1. Love your tips, Kristen!! I’m often surprised by how many people don’t know about getting free cups of water! We do it all the time now! 🙂 We LOVE to go to the bakery in the France Pavillion to use up extra snack credits too. There are sooo many yummy things there!

  2. Great Video!! Don’t forget that at the holidays those Rice krispie treats are ALL decked out with red and white, or whatever the theme may be! I loved the Christmas-y ones and used up some credits on those! We also used up any counter service by visiting the food court of ANOTHER hotel and checked it out to see if we wanted to stay there!–The Beef n Bleu sandwich at CBR was AWESOME (heated a bit!) and we are already booked for September!

  3. I think that’s one of those things that most people either don’t think about or think they’ll get charged for a cup of water so they just order a bottle or drink.

What do you think?
