Kaylene Jablecki leads a busy life as the mother of five, but makes time for Disney in her every day life. She’s a member of the Walt Disney World Mom’s Panel where she helps others plan their vacations and answers all types of questions about Disney World. She also makes sure to include a bit of the magic at her home for her family.
As an independent contractor on the Moms Panel, she assists Guests to make sure their vacation is catered to their family’s specific needs and dreams. Although she has a personal wealth of Disney knowledge through her own trips, she works to keep up with the changes in the accommodations, attractions, restaurants, etc. so she can provide the correct information at any time.
This is something Kaylene has been doing on her own due to the wide-range of her kids’ ages. Knowing how to simultaneously entertain a toddler and teenager is a necessary skill in her life. This skill comes into play quite often when answering questions for the panel.
At home in Cape Cod, Mass. with her husband Steve and her five children – 3 girls (19, 8 & 6) and 2 boys (15 & 10), Kaylene lives a Disney Driven Life. She’s always in the process of planning her family’s next Disney vacation and includes her family in the planning phase. They talk about their “wishes” to make their next trip even better than the last. They make Mickey pancakes, watch Disney movies, and search for Hidden Mickey’s in everyday things.
She also spends time printing and organizing the many photos she takes during her Disney vacations. Since she takes no fewer than 800 photos on every Disney vacation, that’s takes up a lot of time! Kaylene puts her photos into Disney albums and writes a little bit about the photo next to each picture to keep the memories alive. This is one reason that Kaylene is known as “The Memory Maker”.
Because she puts her heart and soul into planning her family’s vacations and now other people’s vacations as a member of the Mom’s Panel, many others now know about her memory-making ability! And Kaylene has a lot of her own favorite memories of Disney including,
riding Crush’n Gusher with my Dad on his 60th Birthday, getting my Mom to ride Tower of Terror (she is scared of the Tea Cups), driving a Race Car for the Richard Petty Driving Experience, the time that Pooh brought my (then) 3-year-old out of her shell at Crystal Palace, or when Druzilla embarrassed my (then) 12-year-old son, watching the fireworks while celebrating my Anniversary at California Grill, riding Summit Plummet with 3 of my children, watching my kids be transformed at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Pirates League, enjoying Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, walking down Main Street in the falling snow with my Moms Panel Family, being mesmerized by the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights…and much, much more.
Born the same day the Magic Kingdom was dedicated, Kaylene likes to think she was born to love Disney! And it’s easy for her to pass that love on. As DVC members, she and her husband try to make trips to Disney as often as possible to keep the passion for Disney going in her family, which is an easy task. And she knows that she’ll be creating many more memories with each trip.
Becoming a Panelist is the realization of one of her fondest dreams. She has the opportunity to share her love of Disney with so many other people . She wants other families to experience the Disney World that she knows and loves and to make their trip one full of memories to last a lifetime. Be sure to look out for Kaylene Jablecki on the Mom’s Panel and as one of the bloggers here. I’m sure she’ll be providing memories for all of us.
