So you’ve collected pins, antenna toppers,  and key chains. Your home has lots of Disney characters on your shelves. Some Disney art is on the wall. What’s left? How about adding that special touch to your kitchen? Maybe you cook every day and want to make a meal from your favorite Disney restaurant. Maybe you make some quick snacks and feel like some Mickey waffles now and then. It’s easy to create a Disney kitchen with the collectibles you use.

Go all the way and get everything from your dishes and glasses to a few aprons and dish towels. Add a spatula, measuring spoons, and a Mickey shaped egg ring. For cooking, you can still get Mickey Waffle Makers, a colander, and pasta scooper.

If you want to decorate your kitchen, there’s lots of choices. Go classy, retro, or design by character. Of course, towels, place mats, and cookie jars can do the trick. But what about adding some fun touches? Line an open kitchen shelf with Disney coffee mugs of every shape, size and character. Show off your collection of Disney cookie jars.

Dinner wear is another item you can collect. Alice In Wonderland is hot right now, not just with tea pots and tea cups, but with dishes too. Plastic wear for picnics or dining outdoors is a way to brighten anyone’s day. Most of these items are colorful and cheery–great for that indoor picnic when it’s a dreary day outside.

And you must be dressed for the occasion too! Wear a Mickey chef hat, an apron, and oven mitts. Serve your food on a Disney tray and don’t forget to leave a set of Disney salt and pepper shakers on the table for your guests.

The best thing about a Disney kitchen is that you put your collectibles to use, share them, and enjoy them. They can turn a bad day into a magical one!
