Like I mentioned last week in my article, Romantic Nooks and Crannies around Magic Kingdom, the attention to detail is evident all over Disney World! The resort hotels are no exception. In fact, they are some of my favorite places to roam while visiting Disney World!
Many resorts have boats you can rent. I especially enjoy the canoes over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. You can paddle the creeks that wind throughout the lush property.
Over in the same area, is a Campfire show. It starts out with roasted marshmallows and songs and ends with a movie under the stars. Perfect for snuggling!
What’s not to love at the Grand Floridian? Home of the Wedding Pavilion, the place exudes classic fairytale romance.
My favorite spot though? The balconies off of the second floor of the main building. They are tucked out of the way and look over the beach.
If we stroll over to the Polynesian, we are instantly transported to a sultry, tropical paradise. Hawaiian music drifts and wafts through the swaying palms and the winding pathways somehow relax you. The beach is a golden span of paradise. The jewel on the long expanse of sand is the ring of tall palm trees at a point that juts out over the water. Directly across from this point, the magical castle sits regally.
What are your favorite nooks and crannies in Walt Disney World Resorts?

Princess Ami grew up going to Disney World when it was young and very small in comparison to today. It was a “World” that spanned only the Magic Kingdom resort area and the E-ticket was king! Disney World grew and Ami did with it, savoring every moment and change. Now that they are both knocking on 40, Magic Kingdom does its Disney magic with 3 more parks. It’s probably not a coincidence that Ami now experiences that new magic with 3 more princesses in tow. The girls are growing up addicted to the magic just as their mom did. Married to Prince Scott, Ami is gradually converting him over to the pixie dusted side! In addition to writing Disney infused blogs like www.disneyparkgoddess.blogspot.com and www.faithtrustandpixiedusted.blogspot.com, Ami is a singer in her Virginia church’s contemporary praise band and a self-proclaimed foodie.
