My three previous trips to Walt Disney World as an adult have been planned completely by myself with the exception of my foodie husband usually picking out the places in which we will dine. For this year’s trip, I got the added bonus of my son being old enough to have a lot to say about what he wants to do in Walt Disney World this year!

Here is your Disney Dozen for the things my almost 5-year-old Neurotic Disney Kid, must do on his trip to Walt Disney World this year, in his own words.

#1. Well, I want to go on the pirate ride.

#2. I want to go on the Peter Pan ride.

#3. I want to go on the Winnie the Pooh ride.

#4. I want to go on the Mexico Ride.

#5. I want to go on the America ride.

#6. I want to go on the Toy Story Ride.

#7. I want to go on Ketchakiddee Creek.

#8. I want to go in Lizard Beach.

#9. I want to go to the Mr. Potato Head shop and build my own Mr. Potato Head.

#10. I want to go in the Disney Junior Muppet Show.

#11. I want to go to the Muppet Show theatre where you see the Muppets.

#12. I want to go at the Luau.

Now, if you are  Neurotic Disney Mom like myself, then you just might know the meaning of my little Jake’s list of Disney to-do’s. But if you are just earning your ears, here is a translation.

#1. I want to ride Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom.

#2. I want to ride Peter Pan’s Flight in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom.

#3. I want to ride The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom.

#4. I want to experience the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros boat ride in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot.

#5. I want to see The Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom.

#6. I want to experience Toy Story Mania! on Pixar Place at Hollywood Studios.

#7. I want to play in the children’s area at Typhoon Lagoon called Ketchakiddee Creek.

#8. I want to go to Blizzard Beach.

#9. I want to visit Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney and make you buy me yet another giant Mr. Potato Head filled with 1,000 parts that I can throw all over the hotel room.

#10. I want to see Disney Junior-Live on Stage! at Hollywood studios. (all puppets are Muppets in Jake-speak)

#11. I want to see Muppet*Vision 3-D at Hollywood Studios.

#12. I want to go to Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Show at the Polynesian resort. (We are not doing this, this year. I hope having dinner at Kona Cafe will satisfy this want for him!)

So there you have it, folks. If you have a child around 5-years-old, apparently these are things that should be on your must-do list while on your Walt Disney World vacation! Does your little one have any funny things they have to do in Disney?
