The D23 Expo 2011 is just over a week away and all of the Disney community is buzzing about what potential news and information will come from this year’s Expo. There are many who will be making the trek, what some might even call a pilgrimage, to the Expo and will be experiencing the events in person while other will be sitting at home, glued to their computers awaiting the all-important announcements. Here are the times for some of the big events at the Expo, all times are Pacific:
Friday, August 19
11:00-12:30 PM – 2011 Disney Legends Ceremony– Honorees will be presented with their awards, among them are Jodi Benson, Jim Henson, Regis Philbin and Paige O’Hara.
3:30-5:00 PM – Walt Disney Parks and Resorts – The information all of us Disney Travel lovers are on edge for! Which internet rumors are true? What will be happening at our dear parks? Rumors will become reality at this news event!
Saturday, August 20
10:30AM – 1:00 PM – The Walt Disney Studios– This event has all the movie information that the Disney movie buffs could hope for! Exclusive clips, performances, star appearances and more!
Sunday, August 21
10:15 – 11:45 AM – Marvel – Learn all about Marvel, including what is possibly to come in the future.
1:30 – 2:30 PM – Radiator Springs Reality – John Lasseter and Roger Gould give a sneak peek at what is to come for the new Cars Land area in Disney’s California Adventure.
