Oh, Christmas ornaments….
Every year, we love to wander into a Hallmark store and look at all of the unique Christmas ornaments. The lights, the sounds, the memories are so comforting at that time of the year. The only downfall to waiting until Christmas time is that usually the stores are sold out of the popular ornaments, including the display ones. The other day, NDK & I wandered into a Hallmark store. And there they were….Christmas ornaments.
I am a “one-holiday-at-a-time” kind of NDP. So, I will spare you the pictures & videos of actual Christmas ornaments until at least next month. But these? These are a different story…
I know I cannot be the only person *not* to have seen these before! The Year of Disney Magic Collection has to be the best. The collection is a different ornament for your home, for each month of the year, featuring your favorite classic friends. From the Hallmark website –
Mickey and friends are leaving the Clubhouse and headed to Gold Crown stores. Keepsake artists Orville Wilson, Nello Williams and Anita Marra Rogers teamed up to bring you a whole year of your Disney favorites. Starting in July, a different ornament from this 12-piece series will arrive every month.
The collection is very simple and would fit in any neurotic Disney home. I appreciate how the artists highlighted a “theme” for every month without going overboard. We are a “Halloween” family- that is our favorite season. Daisy in the witch’s costume with that smiling jack-o-lantern would look great with my other Disney Halloween decorations. But who am I kidding? I really want them all.
