September 16th marks Mexico Independence Day, a nationwide public holiday to celebrate the country’s freedom from Spanish rule. The Mexico Pavilion at Epcot has a few festivities planned to mark the occasion!
Inside the pavilion near the Kidcot Fun Stop, you will be able to participate in a Discovery Experience and explore Mexico, while learning interesting facts along the way.. Once you have completed the fun scavenger hunt, you will be awarded a certificate and a special surprise!
But what if you cannot be at Epcot? You can still celebrate at home. Having a Mexican themed dinner along with a showing of “The Three Caballeros” is a great, easy way to celebrate and show off your Disney Side!
This experience will run from 11am – 5 pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot. Have you ever participated in this experience?
