I have visited the Disney Parks, (Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts) over twenty-five times, visited Aulani, and sailed nine times with Disney Cruise Line on all four ships in the fleet. Having a special needs family member places another dimension of planning for and visiting the Disney Parks and sailing with Disney, and I have to say that it is these vacations that have allowed us to see the greatest developmental improvements in our now teen aged son.

This week, the Disney Driven Life will be featuring articles to help your Disney side this Halloween season! Today, NDM Jackie P, our DCL expert, shows us how to celebrate this Fall season while on the high seas. Watch for more articles this week to keep Disney in your Halloween fun!

Guests are not left behind on any special event sailing with Disney Cruise Line. The special “Holiday Cruises” have already begun on the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy and will commence later in September on the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder.

The ships are decorated in great detail for Halloween and that’s just the beginning with these incredible sailings. The daily Personal Navigator is bursting with activities, events and many special activities for guests of all ages. The ever popular evolving Halloween Tree is incredible with the eerie transformations throughout the cruise. Treats, tricks, Halloween themed parties and entertainment are to be found throughout each day.

Just some of the many activities that are offered are as follows:

The Halloween Isn’t Just For Kids is a super fun costume party just for adults.

Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party is a scare-a-bration with trick-or-treating, spooky games, dancing and special Halloween character greets. This party is in addition to the ever popular Pirate Night.

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing and Scream where you have a special meet-and-greet with Jack and Sally, as well as an interactive movie experience that immerses you in the action.

Haunted Stories of the Sea is story-telling, camp-fire style on the deck.

Halloween-Themed Activities for all guests, with such activities as pumpkin-carving and mask-making.
