ABC will be celebrating the most spooktacular night of the year by airing special Halloween themed programs starting on October 15th, 2014. Toy Story of Terror is included in the line up and is the first show to kick off this event! Many of your other favorite ABC shows will be Halloween themed, Check local listings for channels and exact times.
TOY STORY OF TERROR – Fast becoming a Halloween tradition, last year’s hit special, Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story OF TERROR!,” a spooky new tale featuring all of your favorite characters from the “Toy Story” films, airs WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET). What starts out as a fun road trip for the “Toy Story” gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this “Toy Story OF TERROR!” Tom Hanks and Tim Allen Reprise their roles as Woody and Buzz.
Now, while the next show is not *Disney*, I cannot lose my Disney card for sharing this information with you. Consider this a Public Service Announcement. And I think it is wonderful ABC decided to show it twice this season, in case you miss it or want to wait up for the Great Pumpkin a second time….
IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN – The classic animated Halloween-themed PEANUTS special, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz will air WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET). The program will air with Spanish audio via SAP. In the 1966 animated special “It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” The PEANUTS gang celebrates Halloween, with Linus hoping that, finally, he will be visited by The Great Pumpkin, while Charlie Brown is invited to a Halloween party. Cast members include Peter Robbins (Charlie Brown) and Christopher Shea (Linus). The cast also includes Sally Dryer as Lucy, Chris Doran as Schroeder, Bill Melendez as Snoopy, Kathy Steinberg as Sally, Tracy Stratford as Violet and Ann Altieri as Frieda. This episode, as well as a bonus PEANUTS cartoon, “You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown,” in which Linus runs for class president, will air THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
