November is quickly approaching. As I have stated before, I am a one-holiday-at-a-time kind of NDM. Somehow, I always feel that Thanksgiving gets slighted. In our home, Christmas music is not allowed to play until AFTER the showing of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. Once the parade is over, we start with our holiday decorations and such(read: Black Friday planning). But, for  theme parks and vacationing families, the Winter season of holidays has to start as soon as we take down our Mickey carved jack-o-lanterns.

This year, the Disney Driven Life will post Winter happenings after Halloween to accommodate those making plans, but we are not forgetting Thanksgiving this year! November is a perfect time to reflect on the previous year, before the hustle and bustle of the Winter holidays is upon us. We will feature personal articles, written by the contributors at the DDL, about why they are thankful for Disney in their lives.

We would love to hear from you as well! We know you are all thankful for Disney in one way or another, but why not share your story with us? It’s not hard – just submit your story via email to NDM 130 and we will publish your story during the month of November. There are no word counts or quotas. No right or wrong thing to be thankful for. Disney has granted all of us many magical memories, helped us through rough times, brought families together after years apart and been a constant in our lives.

Contact NDM 130 today and let us know that you are interested in submitting an article! It will be a great month of thankful reflection 🙂
