Best of luck to everyone running, walking and run/walking the Wine and Dine weekend races! You’re in for a really exciting race experience and lots of fun! Please remember to hydrate well, especially if it’s humid like last year’s race. The runDisney races are top notch and provide lots of opportunities to hydrate along the way with both water and Powerade.
Tip: Don’t wait until you feel thirsty – drink a little at each stop to stay on top of your hydration.
Don’t miss the food and festivities at the finish line party at Epcot after the Wine and Dine Half. As part of the International Food and Wine Festival, you can try all kinds of delicious foods perfectly served up in small portions. A great way to fuel up post race! Just make sure to bring your Magic Band, credit card, or cash with you. You’re in for one fun and magical night!
Have a great race!

Hello, I’m Denise! I’m a work at home mom, blogger, bargain shopper, Disney fanatic, home cook, volunteer, and distance runner (26.2 x2, 13.1 x4, 10k x3, and lots of 5k’s). I also know a little about weight loss. My dream of running my first Half Marathon at Disneyland at my goal weight had a lot to do with the motivation to lose weight, as well as being a healthier and happier person, mom and wife. With sheer determination, cleaner eating and exercise, I lost 110 pounds after the birth of my son. It wasn’t easy but it sure was worth it! I’m currently training for the 2015 runDisney Dopey Challenge at Walt Disney World.
