dancing-with-the-stars dwtsDancing with the Stars Latin Night!

Color, music, and dance … it’s Latin night!  Ay Dios Mio!

Erin ,dressed in red, welcomed the dancers to the dance floor!   First up was Rumer and Val!  Dancing Salsa to “Turn the Beat Around.”  I had to stop and realize who was the pro and who was the star!  Len was speechless and said that this could be the best dance of the season!  With lots of positive comments and positive direction, they received a total of 33!

Next up is, Charlotte and Keo dancing the Rumba to “Empire.”  Charlotte had grace in her dance, but the judges did not really agree!  Bruno felt like she lacked content.   Len was very disappointed. They left with a total score of 22! Yikes!!!!

Michael and Peta started off with a mud mask before training. They danced Salsa. Peta was tossed around a lot and the judges noticed! Len liked the lifts! They ended with all 6’s. With a total of 24, they were very disappointed!

Riker is up next! We also just found out that we are 2 weeks away from #Disney night! I can’t wait to see their #disneyside! We had one elimination coming, and this left me in anticipation of who would leave on Latin Night!  Oh my! Ok, on with the dancing!

Riker and Allison danced the Salsa. Wow, you could see the dance moves flow through his genes! He is definitely a Hough! Wow! Carrie Ann was wowed too! Len said, “You’re not the best dancer”! Boo Len! The judges just wanted more energy between this couple. They rallied the judges with a score of 34! All 9’s with the exception of Len’s 7!

Suzanne Somers danced the Samba to the “Copa Cabana!” I hope I can dance like Suzanne at 68! The judges were very happy with her performance, except for an oops or 2! They thrilled the judges with a grand total of 25! What?! We all thought that the scores would be a lot higher!

Bachelor Farmer Chris was next with the Argentine Tango. He had a strong performance.   The judges were thrilled with his improvement! Len even gave Chris a “Well Done!”  For a grand total 28, they were happy and ready for next week!

Robert from Shark Tank was front and center stage dancing a Rumba with Kym. Robert was in beautiful control of this Rumba! The judges loved the chemistry, and loved him and how well he adjusted to direction! For a minute, I thought he may Rumba with Len, but Robert scored a total of 29.

Patti was up next with the Cha Cha to Santana! Patti never disappoints so let’s see! Artem is an amazing trainer! The performance was too cute, but the judges were disappointed. While lacking a little Cha Cha, they ended with a score of 22!

Our 14 year old, Willow, dances the Paso Doble with Mark. Willow dug deep for this performance and produced a strong dance! Len was thrilled, Julianne loved the improvement,  Bruno saw the flames inside her, and Carrie Ann saw no age! The performance was amazing and scored a 32!  Woo Hoo!

Noah and Sharna dance the Argentine Tango. Noah tried to cope with an additional prosthetic.  After trying, he gave it up! His intensity and strength was over the top! Magnificent,  accurate, flexibility, and my hero were the comments from the judges. Sharna’s choreography helped them to a grand score of 30!

Nastia and Derek danced the Samba to a kickin’ tribal song! Wow, Bruno nailed it, it was exciting to watch! Everyone loved the dance. They scored 9, 8, 9, and 8! With a 34, they were safe!

Between Chris, Charlotte, and Noah someone was in jeopardy! Charlotte and Keo were eliminated. Charlotte really enjoyed the opportunity and appreciated the experience!
