LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – While Walt Disney World Resort is the second most popular place in the world to take a selfie, (after the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France) it ranks first among the best places to get everyone in the picture, too, thanks to Disney’s PhotoPass Service.

Using the latest digital equipment and Disney-engineered technology, a team of Disney PhotoPass photographers take photos of guests enjoying time together inside the four Walt Disney World theme parks, meeting Disney Characters, during Disney Character dining experiences and near numerous iconic locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

The complimentary Disney PhotoPass service gives guests a convenient way to capture treasured moments with everyone in the picture together. And the ability to share memories has never been easier thanks to the online component of Disney PhotoPass, where guests’ vacation photos are linked together into one online account that they can access at their leisure to view, share and order photos.

A cool new Disney PhotoPass feature available at select Walt Disney World attractions captures guests experiences on video, letting them relive the excitement of the rollicking turns on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at Magic Kingdom or the thrilling drops on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Also new, Animated Magic Shots add some Disney animation to photo memories for guests. When visiting select locations at Walt Disney World theme parks such as behind Spaceship Earth at Epcot, guests can ask a Disney PhotoPass photographer for an Animated Magic Shot. Once they visit MyDisneyPhotoPass.com, they’ll be surprised to find that animation has been applied to their photo featuring a Disney Character.

Other enhanced Disney PhotoPass products and services are offered for Walt Disney World Resort guests, including:

Memory Maker — Now there’s an innovative way for guests to capture and relive the magical memories of their Walt Disney World vacation through Disney PhotoPass’ Memory Maker service. Memory Maker allows guests to collect, view, download and share all of the Walt Disney World vacation photos linked to their My Disney Experience accounts.

When taking photos with a Disney PhotoPass photographer, guests can associate their photos by touching their MagicBand, Memory Maker card, Disney PhotoPass card or park admission ticket to a device that the photographer uses.

For photos and videos taken on attractions at Walt Disney World Resort, guests with a MagicBand will have their photos automatically associated to their account by simply wearing them while experiencing the attraction. If a guest does not have a MagicBand, they can associate their attraction photos (other than Seven Dwarfs Mine Train location) to a Memory Maker card or park admission ticket by touching their card or ticket to the photo touch point located next to their photo at the attraction preview wall.

Guests with Memory Maker also can download images and other digital content from Family & Friends connections in My Disney Experience who choose to share their photos. All photos and videos are available for guests to collect for 30 days from the day Memory Maker is redeemed or from the date of the first content download.

Guests can purchase Memory Maker in advance of their vacation online for $169 plus tax, or purchase it once they arrive at Walt Disney World Resort at select merchandise locations for $199 plus tax or after their vacation by visiting DisneyWorld.com/Memory-Maker.

Memory Maker One Day — For guests visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks for a shorter time, a new Memory Maker One Day product is just the thing to capture a day full of Disney memories. When guests purchase a 1-day Magic Your Way park admission ticket, they can add Memory Maker to their ticket for just $39 and receive a complimentary MagicBand.

With the Memory Maker One Day, guests will receive unlimited digital downloads for the day they use their ticket to enter the Walt Disney World theme parks, including access and downloads for all photos captured on attractions, at Disney Character Meet and Greet locations and Disney Character dining locations. Guests can purchase the Memory Maker One Day at Magic Kingdom Vacation Planning booths.*
