The 2016-17 runDisney Calendar was shared on runDisney’s Facebook page earlier today! Here are the race and general public sign up dates:
Tip: Mark your calendar for the registration date and be ready to register as soon as it opens. Some races sell out almost immediately so don’t wait!
- Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend (presented by Cigna): September 1-4 2016 (on sale February 2, 2016, noon ET)
- Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend: November 4-5, 2016 (on sale
March 15, 2016, noon ET) UPDATED per runDisney: on sale March 29. 2016 - Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend: November 10-13, 2016 (on sale
April 5, 2016, noon ET) UPDATED per runDisney: on sale April 12, 2016 - Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend (presented by Cigna): January 4-8, 2017 (on sale April 26, 2016, noon ET)
- Star Wars Half Marathon – The Light Side (at Disneyland Resort): January 12-15, 2017 (on sale June 14, 2016, noon ET)
- Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend (presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals): February 23-26, 2017 (on sale July 12, 2016, noon ET)
- Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side (at Walt Disney World Resort): April 20-23, 2017 (on sale August 9, 2016, noon ET)
- Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend (presented by PANDORA Jewelry): May 11-14, 2017 (on sale September 20, 2016, noon ET)
Information for Disneyland Paris Half Marathon can be found at http://run.disneylandparis.com/. Registration opens October 13, 2015 (next week!) with the event taking place on September 23-26, 2016. Will you be attending this event?

Hi! The details for the 2017 Coast to Coast Challenges are not listed on the runDisney site yet. I will keep my eyes open & share as soon as I hear! Were you a participant this year?
Are there any fall 2017 Disney races planned??
I’m sure there are, but official dates have not been announced yet. Per the runDisney site, they only list events thru the Tinkerbell Half in 5/17. As soon as dates are announced, I will be sure to share them! (This post was originally published in the beginning of October 2015, so I’m hoping around that time again!) Have a great day!
