These Throwback Thursday photos are from a time that characters freely roamed the park and your treasured photos always had unidentified, non-related children in them. Fifer Pig, Wilbur from The Rescuers and Donald Duck meet on Main Street, which still looks the same today. Unfortunately, I do not have a date on these, but I am guessing after 1977, as that was the release year for The Rescuers. The impromptu greets were always magical, but of course, that would never work today. You can see from the photo that park attendance was nothing compared to today’s crowds.
