Disney on Ice has *always* been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. Just last week I posted a souvenir from a 1980’s Disney on Ice show when it was known as Walt Disney’s World on Ice. Disney on Ice has been a show that I feel is a rite of passage for any neurotic Disney child. There is just something special about watching your favorite Disney characters gracefully reenact Disney stories on ice.
Walking into the venue is another moment of wonder. Tables of souvenirs are everywhere. But I’m not talking about souvenirs that you buy for the kids. I’m referring to the memories you will have as a parent when watching your child just stare in amazement. As far as a tangible memory, that one perfect souvenir can hold a memory for a lifetime. I know that NDK’s eyes are always wide when she walks up to one of those tables. The toys that spin and light up are always an eye catcher. And that wide eyed amazement is just the beginning of the evening. I love those moments. She won’t be little forever, and I treasure sharing these moments with her every year.
