ABC’S ‘THE VIEW’ IS MORE ANIMATED THAN EVER THIS HALLOWEEN WITH ‘A CARTOON VIEW,’ MONDAY, OCTOBER 31
Things get emotional, politically incorrect with a touch of sparkle and a dash of fairy dust this Halloween, on ‘A Cartoon View,” MONDAY, OCTOBER 31. Don’t miss Raven-Symoné’s spot-on impression of “South Park”’s Eric Cartman while things are looking blue for Sara Haines as Smurfette. Paula Faris shines as Twilight Sparkle from “My Little Pony”; Candace Cameron Bure flies as Tinker Bell; Jedediah Bila vamps as the queen of the animated screen, Betty Boop; and Sunny Hostin is that famous explorer Dora. Joy Behar is none other than Joy from Disney’s “Inside Out,” and, from the longest-running animated series in TV history, Whoopi Goldberg as Marge Simpson. Guests include Ken Jong (ABC’s “Dr. Ken”) and a performance from Kristin Chenoweth (album, “The Art of Elegance”) with ghoulish gadgets and costumes inspired by this year’s hottest topics.
Season 20 of “The View” (11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. EDT) is the place to be heard and promises a stellar lineup of the hottest topics and celebrities, politicians and newsmakers and so much more, delivering live broadcasts five days a week. Candi Carter serves as executive producer with Brian Teta as co-executive producer. “The View” is directed by Sarah de la O. “After the View” streams live on www.abc.com/TheView at 12:05 p.m. EDT twice each week. The live after show features co-hosts’ and viewer reaction to the day’s show, additional Hot Topics and celebrity drop-ins.
