Did you see “Beauty and the Beast” this weekend? If you feel the way I did about Disney’s newest remake, you might be slightly obsessed with all things surrounding this new movie. Here are some fun ways to keep this “tale as old as time” all around for a little while longer!
Disney Style recruited fangirl Shannon Barry to recreate Belle’s simple, yet elegant hairdo from the ballroom scene in “Beauty and the Beast.” What I love about this is the simplicity of this style. NDK (my 9 year old Neurotic Disney Kid) watched this video and was excited because she thinks she can master this look with very little help from me. Why do kids have to grow up?
Maybe cooking and baking is your thing? My Cupcake Addiction shows us how to create a simple cake fit for an Enchanted Rose! This cake uses no fondant or any tricky techniques. Buttercream icing and a real rose are the key components to this easy diy winner!
Do you play Gameloft’s Disney Magic Kingdoms? If so, you know that there is a Beauty and the Beast event going on right now. My Cupcake Addiction partnered with Gameloft and created these fun, themed cupcakes for the event. These are themed after the animated version and include a link to download free templates of the character to add to these adorable cupcakes!
Because cupcakes are a winner all the time, I have one last Beauty and the Beast themed cupcake. Simplicity again is the key. An Enchanted Rose Cupcake would be a hit for any Beauty and the Beast inspired movie night or party!
Now, this last diy video is, by far, not for the weak of heart. These stunning cookies are definitely full of detail and not something you could whip up in less than a half hour. It is not something I would ever have the time to recreate, but because they are beautiful, I had to share!
Be honest, how many times have you seen “Beauty and the Beast?” If you are planning an enchanting event featuring Beauty and the Beast, be sure to check out the FREE themed invitations from Punchbowl! The new Beauty and the Beast line of invitations will make you want to have a party just because!
