At a recent trip to the mall, I walked past the the Swarovski store. I have never ventured inside because I know what’s in there. Lovely and glittering pieces for me to wear or to showcase in home, Swarovski has always been known for high-quality crystal products. But this time I was drawn to the store window, for there was the Beauty and the Beast collection. I had no idea Swarovski and Disney had a licensing deal. I’m always looking for Disney merchandise but I like it to be more adult, not the stuff you find in the Disney Store. The window display was just dazzling.
I had to snap a picture of the display. Showcased here is Belle statue, the rose pendant, rose ring, and rose bracelet. I did not dare walk into the store. Truly, I just couldn’t be tempted to have the opportunity right there to purchase at least one of these stunning items.
This is just a breathtaking piece. I would display this Belle statue on a rotating pedestal so that the light can reflect. It took me a few days to investigate prices. This piece has 450 sparkling facets in clear and yellow crystal. $599 limited edition. Necklace $349. Ring $299. For more information see the website: www.swarovski.com
Letty has loved all things Disney since she was child. Her first visit to the world was back in 1978. Since then she has returned as a spring break college student; as a young woman traveling with her boyfriend (now husband); and her last visit as a wife and mother of twin girls. Every trip was magical. Keeping her Disney fix between visits, she immerses herself researching all she can about the Disney Company. She reads about resort operations, movie profits, cruise lines, theatrical productions, merchandise, and global operations. She looks forward to sharing her research about this company that has created magic for generations.
