The Lion Guard “Ono and the Egg” (8:00 – 8:30 A.M. EDT) Ono begrudgingly becomes the protector of a cuckoo bird’s egg left in his nest and chases off an African harrier hawk who has come to the Pride Lands to hunt for tasty new treats. *Carla Hall (ABC’s “The Chew”) guest stars as Mpishi (Swahili for “chef”), the African harrier hawk.

Sofia the First “The Royal Dragon” (9:00 – 9:30 A.M. EDT) Sofia disguises herself as a dragon to attend the annual Dragon Roast n’ Toast picnic with Crackle and meets her childhood rival, Sizzle. *Jane Krakowski (“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”) and Kimiko Glenn (“Orange Is the New Black”) guest star as dragons, Sizzle and Cinder. Ellie Kemper (“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”) recurs as Crackle.

“Descendants 2” (8:00 P.M. EDT) The story deepens in the sequel to the global smash hit “Descendants,” as the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains — Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay (also known as Villain Kids) — try to find their place in idyllic Auradon. When the pressure becomes too much for Mal, she returns to the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the town.  Uma, resentful over not being selected by Ben to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all.
