Mickey Mouse, who is celebrating his 90th birthday, posed for a picture with his friends from Pop Warner, who are also celebrating their 90th anniversary, during the Pop Warner Super Bowl at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort. Mickey and Disney Sports Vice President Faron Kelley (right), Pop Warner Executive Director Jon Butler (left), Minnie Mouse and Pop Warner football athletes celebrated with a spectacularly decorated four-foot birthday cake on Field 17 at the sports complex.
The top youth football and cheer teams in the nation are competing for national championships this week during the Pop Warner Super Bowl football and cheerleading tournament at Disney. Sixty-four youth football teams and more than 450 cheer and dance teams from across the nation are competing for national titles during the tournament at Disney that began Saturday, Dec. 1 and concludes Saturday, Dec. 8.
