Throw a Descendants 3 Viewing Party!
Descendants 3 premiered on Disney Channel on August 2nd, with an almost immediate DVD release on August 6th. That’s right – Descendants 3 is available to watch at home with exclusive bloopers and deleted scenes. A movie night featuring this is a perfect way to end summer vacation!
This Disney Channel Original Movie continues the contemporary saga of good versus evil as the teenage daughters and sons of Disney’s most infamous villains – – Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay (also known as the villain kids or VKs) — return to the Isle of the Lost to recruit a new batch of villainous offspring to join them at Auradon Prep. When a barrier breach jeopardizes the safety of Auradon during their departure off the Isle, Mal resolves to permanently close the barrier, fearing that nemeses Uma and Hades will wreak vengeance on the kingdom. Despite her decision, an unfathomable dark force threatens the people of Auradon, and it’s up to Mal and the VKs to save everyone in their most epic battle yet.
I won’t give out any spoilers, in case you have not seen the movie yet, but be sure to leave enough time for the bloopers and deleted scenes. My family always enjoys watching these after every movie we watch. It gives us a great opportunity to chat about our thoughts on the movie and guess why certain scenes were deleted. In all, the DVD runs about 106 minutes, including the bonus features. One of the best bonus features to this DVD is the inclusion of Under the Sea: A Descendants Short Story!
Want to throw a party? Oh My Disney! shares some great ideas for a villainous Descendants 3 viewing party. These ideas are simple enough to set the mood and make your Descendants fan feel extra special! One of the best ideas listed was to have a marathon. That way, you are prepared for the final chapter. Food ideas include plenty of simple sweet ideas. Definitely check this out to make your viewing party over the top!
