when pigs fly orlando repTheatre for the Very Young(TVY) comes to Orlando REP for the first time! Theatre for the Very Young is created specifically for young people, infant to 5-years-old, and is an interactive, multi-sensory experience that invites audience members to become part of telling a story through creative play.

A performance-type event, called When Pigs Fly, is based on a concept by Maria Katsadouros. Join a pig named Avery and his friends on the farm as they explore what it means to fly through the elements of play, discovery, whimsical movement, and a few surprises along the way! This play is approximately 30 minutes in length. Tickets for When Pigs Fly are available for the following performance dates:

  • November 9th @ 10:30 am
  • November 20th @ 10:30 am
  • December 4th @ 10:30 am
  • January 25th @ 10:30 am

Baby and Me Drama Time is a workshop perfect for 0-2 year olds and their caregivers. Tuition is $10 per class. The next available dates are January 21 & January 23 from 9:00 am-9:30 am.

Class description:
Did you know 90% of your child’s brain develops before they start kindergarten? Provide them an experience that lasts a lifetime! Join us at Orlando REP in creating joyful connections and developmental experiences with your baby!

You are your baby’s first teacher, and we want to help you enjoy it even more! Each class is uniquely themed and includes music, expressive movement, and dramatic play between you and your baby (0-24 months), as well as with other parent and child pairs. Reserve your spot ahead of time or drop in when you can. Parents, Grandparents, or Caregivers welcome.

Parents are encouraged to attend as many of these events as they would like, as each will be different based upon attendance and interactions.
