Pandora today announced the launch of an exclusive playlist, Screen Songs: ‘Mulan’ with Harry Gregson-Williams to celebrate the release of the new Disney film!
Composer Harry Gregson-Williams has written music for a diverse array of Hollywood blockbusters, but few have been as highly-anticipated as Disney’s live-action adaptation of the studio’s 1998 classic, ‘Mulan.’ To score everything from pivotal family moments to dramatic fight scenes, the British musician created a soundscape worthy of the titular hero, played by actress Yifei Liu. Ahead, hear his behind-the-scenes stories of helping to bring the new version of ‘Mulan’ to life, including the “great thrill” of writing “Loyal Brave True” for Christina Aguilera, who sang the original film’s iconic “Reflection.”
