Disney and Nordstrom NYC kicked off the holidays with a festive celebration at the iconic Wollman Rink in Central Park on Tuesday, December 5th. Guests enjoyed holiday treats and specialty cocktails while celebrating the season with an evening of ice skating, unique photo opps with beloved Disney characters Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, a Super Smalls crafting station for kids, interactive games for the whole family, and a special live ice skating performance.
Designer Cynthia Rowley, Designer of Cotte D’Armes, Clarence Ruth, Artist Aliyah Salmon and more were in attendance.
The Nordstrom and Wollman Rink partnership offers magical holiday-themed experiences for Wollman Rink visitors through December 31. As part of the partnership, Nordstrom is sponsoring the Nordstrom After School Free Skates, where families involved in the NYC Parks Afterschool Program will have the opportunity to access a free skate at Wollman Rink. In addition, Wollman Rink’s rinkside tent has been transformed into the Nordstrom Chill Lounge for the holidays as part of the Premier Pass experience. Visitors have the option to upgrade their rink admission for Nordstrom Chill Lounge access, which includes expedited rink entry, skate rental concierge service, cozy “fireside” seating, complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, tea and refreshments, as well as a dedicated tent attendant and locker. Visitors also have access to photo opportunities with Nordstrom’s in-store Santa on select days, as well as hot chocolate tastings every weekend in November and December.
With the Disney100 collaboration, you’ll find magic around every corner this holiday season. Disney100 at Nordstrom features over 60 brands and is available in 26 Nordstrom locations. The collections are available online through January 8.
