The entire Mattel, Inc. organization grieves with the greater LA community and those who have been impacted by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

To support Mattel’s hometown, Mattel Children’s Foundation has made donations to our longstanding nonprofit partners including the American Red Cross Los Angeles Region, The Salvation Army, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, Save the Children, Feed the Children, and Baby2Baby. Through the immediate cash and toys donation, Mattel is helping to provide swift support to children and families impacted by the fires with essentials.

American Girl and Mattel Toy Stores have initiated a donation program in 11 locations nationwide for customers to donate to the American Red Cross in support of wildfire relief efforts.

Beginning 1/24/2045 to 3/31/2025, American Girl will show its commitment by matching donations to the American Red Cross, up to $25,000.

Mattel El Segundo headquarter employees are building 4,000 play kits over three days to be donated to nonprofit organizations directly serving children and families impacted by the wildfires.

Mattel is making eight shirts featuring Barbie, Masters of the Universe, Barney, UNO, American Girl, Fisher-Price and Little-People with 100% of Mattel’s profits ($15) going to American Red Cross. You can purchase directly here.

We are grateful to the heroic firefighters and first responders, as well as community leaders and volunteers, including many Mattel team members who have donated their time and opened their homes to their neighbors and colleagues in need.

Our thoughts are with all who are suffering during this unprecedented crisis in our headquarter city. Our support will continue.
