About Night of the Zoopocalypse
Brace yourself for impact! After a meteor unleashes a virus that turns zoo animals into mutants, a mountain lion (David Harbour) and wolf (Gabbi Kosmidis) lead a team of surviving animals to stop the virus and rescue their zoo.
Inspired by a concept from best-selling genre author Clive Barker (“The Thief of Always”), NIGHT OF THE ZOOPOCALYPSE is directed by veteran animators Ricardo Curtis (The Incredibles, The Angry Birds Movie, The Iron Giant) and Rodrigo Perez-Castro (The Book of Life, Ice Age: Collision Course, Ferdinand). Curtis co-founded and Perez-Castro served as head of creative development at House of Cool, which has become the top animation pre-production studio in the world helping to bring to life films like Paw Patrol, The Peanuts Movie, Despicable Me, and the Ice Age films as well as series like He-Man, Trollhunters and the How to Train Your Dragon series.
The film is produced by Steven Hoban’s Copperheart Entertainment and co-produced by Charades Productions, U Media and IDL Films, in association with House of Cool.
