River Country – Throwback Thursday

First & foremost, I'm MOM! I have a Disney soul...am a DVC & D23 member, and a wannabe castmember. Magic seeker for life! I vacationed almost exclusively at WDW with my family as an adult and in the last couple years picked up my family to move there/here. And that’s where I am now…in Cinderella’s backyard with my family. I’m very happy to be a Disney local, at last.

Florida’s weather had been, well, Florida weather lately. We always seem to skip a season or two. It seems that we may have bypassed spring and jumped clear into summer! Today’s Throwback Thursday features a great Walt Disney World summer memory – Disney’s River Country! This is a photo of Slippery Slide Falls at River Country, taken in early summer, 2000.

River Country 2000This was great fun when it was still operational. You can read about the day we spent at Disney’s River Country on my blog, Without a Care in the World!

Do you have a Throwback Thursday photo you would like to share? We would love to feature it! Email NDM130 AT thedisneydrivenlife DOT com!

I never did get the chance to visit River Country as a child. 🙁 I love seeing the photos that everyone shares, too!
