Florida’s weather had been, well, Florida weather lately. We always seem to skip a season or two. It seems that we may have bypassed spring and jumped clear into summer! Today’s Throwback Thursday features a great Walt Disney World summer memory – Disney’s River Country! This is a photo of Slippery Slide Falls at River Country, taken in early summer, 2000.

First & foremost, I’m MOM! I have a Disney soul…am a DVC & D23 member, and a wannabe castmember. Magic seeker for life! I vacationed almost exclusively at WDW with my family as an adult and in the last couple years picked up my family to move there/here. And that’s where I am now…in Cinderella’s backyard with my family. I’m very happy to be a Disney local, at last.
