Disney Movie Nights – they are just traditional. They usually involve pj’s, favorite snacks, blankets & stuffed friends. But, in changing times, there is a new concept of movie night…themed movie nights. I love this concept for so many reasons. It is more than just watching a movie. You can include themed activities, food, & decorations. Our whole family becomes involved. From planning, to decorating, to clean-up, it is a true example of teamwork & a great bonding experience.
This week we’re talking Frozen! It’s being released on March 18 and we know you’ll be snuggled up with your loved ones this week watching it on your couch. Listed below are some great ideas & links to help you plan a great experience with your family. Please come back & comment & let us know how your movie night was. If you are a blogger, we have set up a linky below for you to link up your Frozen Family Movie Night Adventure!
Decorations
Most of you can look outside for the decor for the movie this week. Those of us in the warm weather states will need to do a little more to bring the wintery feel to our movie night. Some ideas for this movie could be:
- cut out snow flakes from construction paper
- make your own Olaf out of paper, cotton balls or another fun medium you’ve got at home
- make adorable icicles to hang around the room
- lots of blue and purple colors in your decorations
- your own Frozen friends

It was love at first sight for Lynn. From the first moment she stepped foot in the Magic Kingdom she knew she’d found where she was meant to be. Many trips have followed that first back in February 2008 and each trip brings new and exciting adventures with her three amazing kids and husband. Lynn is also the owner of My Pixie Dust Diary.
